Aashiqui 2 is a Romantic Musical drama film directed
by Mohit Suri starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor as lead roles. It
was produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt.
The movie
is about the relationship between two musicians Rahul and Arohi which starts
having problems due to Rahul’s drinking habits and temperament. The film is the
sequel to the 1990 musical blockbuster Aashiqui. The making of the movie began
in 2011 with principle photography taking place in Cape town, Goa and Mumbai. The
budget of the movie is 90 million(INR).

released on 26th April 2013. The movie is a huge commercial success.
It was declared as a blockbuster by Box Office India after it’s first 4 week
collection and success. The movie was made under T-Series and Vishesh films.
